Frankston Special Developmental School offers a Middles Education Program specifically designed for children with significant developmental delay.
The Middle School program provides students with an interactive, stimulating and engaging environment.
Our program continues on from the juniors with a focus on developing students’ communication and interpersonal skills.
We also have a greater opportunity to come together as a whole group. ‘Team Challenge’ is an interactive program that is about teaching students social and emotional learning through guided play. Typically students participate in an hour long session every week for the whole year.
Staff work collaboratively in teams to plan and establish levelled literacy and numeracy groups.
Camps include overnight stay/s at either Garfield or Blackwood Outdoor Adventure camps.
